Christmas Light Installation in Midhurst

Christmas light installation in Midhurst, Snow Valley and across Springwater Township just north of Barrie.

Midhurst and the neighbouring parts of Springwater are mostly large-lot homes: wide bungalows and two-storeys set back from the road on big treed lots, with long rooflines, tall spruce and pine, and driveways long enough that lighting them is a project of its own. Rooflines here are quoted by the metre, as anywhere, but there is more of them, and outlets are often further apart, so the quote covers how power reaches each run. The Township's holiday calendar has included a Midhurst Christmas tree lighting at the Midhurst Pavilion on Spence Avenue and Santa's Firetruck Run through Midhurst, Snow Valley and the other Springwater communities on Christmas Eve. Permanent lighting suits the long uninterrupted eaves of Midhurst's newer estate homes well. Tall evergreens on these lots are lit as high as can be reached safely and kept three metres from any overhead line.

Frequently asked questions

Do you cover Innisfil, Bradford and Orillia?

Yes. Innisfil, Bradford West Gwillimbury, Orillia, Midhurst and the rest of Springwater, and Oro-Medonte are booked on the same terms as Barrie. Distance changes the travel time, not how the job is done.

Is the electricity price different outside Barrie?

The commodity prices are set province-wide by the Ontario Energy Board, so off-peak, on-peak and ULO prices are the same. The distributor and its delivery charges differ: Alectra in most of Barrie and in Bradford, InnPower in Innisfil and south Barrie, and Hydro One in Orillia. Your bill names yours.

Can you light a cottage or rural property near Barrie?

Yes, including long laneways, farmhouse rooflines and big spruce on rural lots in Oro-Medonte and Springwater. Rural runs are usually longer, with fewer outlets, and the quote covers how power reaches each run.
