Christmas Light Installation in Innisfil

Christmas light installation across Innisfil, from Alcona and Lefroy on the lake to Stroud and Cookstown inland.

Innisfil wraps around the west shore of Lake Simcoe south of Barrie, and its housing ranges from the newer subdivisions of Alcona and Lefroy to lakefront cottages converted to year-round homes along the shoreline and older village houses in Stroud and Cookstown. The lakefront properties take the wind off the open lake, so runs there are clipped more often and connections sealed against blowing snow. Electricity in the Town is distributed by InnPower, which also serves south Barrie, and the commodity prices are the Ontario Energy Board's like everywhere else in the province. Innisfil is also where part of Barrie's new south end came from: the Salem secondary plan lands were annexed from the Town, and the boundary there is easy to miss. Alcona's newer two-storeys, with long eaves and garage gables, are strong candidates for permanent lighting; the older lakeside homes are more often lit with seasonal lights and lit trees.

Frequently asked questions

Do you cover Innisfil, Bradford and Orillia?

Yes. Innisfil, Bradford West Gwillimbury, Orillia, Midhurst and the rest of Springwater, and Oro-Medonte are booked on the same terms as Barrie. Distance changes the travel time, not how the job is done.

Is the electricity price different outside Barrie?

The commodity prices are set province-wide by the Ontario Energy Board, so off-peak, on-peak and ULO prices are the same. The distributor and its delivery charges differ: Alectra in most of Barrie and in Bradford, InnPower in Innisfil and south Barrie, and Hydro One in Orillia. Your bill names yours.

Can you light a cottage or rural property near Barrie?

Yes, including long laneways, farmhouse rooflines and big spruce on rural lots in Oro-Medonte and Springwater. Rural runs are usually longer, with fewer outlets, and the quote covers how power reaches each run.
